Seminar 2 – Developing the principle of Nam Mô A Di Da Phat –  Vi Kiên Meditation Center 1994

Lecture by Master Vi Kiên

The Energy of the Great Compassion does not abandon us. We are the ungrateful people who abandon the energy of the Great Compassion.

Regardless of the cruel circumstances, if we accept to perfect ourselves spiritually and develop ourselves, our consciousness will illuminate and we will be able to surmount all upcoming adversities. The original principle of NAM-MO-A-DI-DA-PHAT is the jewel of the whole universe, and not only specific to the Vô-Vi method or the Vô-Vi group. Whoever accepts to practice, regardless of their religion, will return to their own sacred soul, and they will happily learn about their precious energy within serenity. They will then advance toward their own lucidity.

Therefore, the Vô-Vi method is not a religion. It is neither a powerful force based on money to oppress others, nor a means of using sacred thoughts to subjugate people. Not at all! The Vô-Vi method is based on a sincere practice to develop oneself and to advance spiritually, to search for one’s own abilities and to understand the magnificent Love of the Great Compassion. God and the Buddhas regularly bestow their Great Compassion to those who have the mind and heart to dedicate themselves to spiritual cultivation.

Today, you have seen the proof of a young adult who has gone astray. Now, he has awakened his consciousness to return to true knowledge. From now on, he will search for his own spiritual capability, and learn to serve humanity.

When the Vô-Vi youths work at the Vô-Vi printing center, the books they produce will be distributed in many places, they will come to the hands of patients lying on their beds, and to other places full of sufferings. Those who pick up these books will follow the examples to practice and they will restore their own happiness. Therefore, this young adult is very fortunate to receive the blessings from his ancestors. If he understands his infinite good fortune, he should hold to it and maintain it, in order to develop himself further in the future. This is a major task, not a trivial one. An agitated youth who returns to the root of serenity is not doing a trivial task. They are working on a great task in the future, and they will contribute to the good of humanity. One should practice with one’s own efforts and not betray oneself. To hold to theory is to betray oneself unknowingly. When one practices on one’s own, one will not delude oneself. One should tell one’s truthful experiences. This is a valuable contribution to humanity.

At this second Seminar, you can hear the wonderful testimonials. In this second Seminar, everyone is developing themselves uniformly. Everyone present is willing to practice and to rectify their consciousness, so that their soul may become more and more lucid each day. Only the soul is able to develop spiritually and build its spiritual virtue, while the body is unable to do so. The physical body is temporary. Everyone lives with their physical body in order to learn all the actions and reactions of earthly life from family to society. Where do we go after learning? We return to the place of serenity. When we accept to return to serenity, we will be able to enjoy the infinite riches granted by God and the Buddhas. We will no longer live alone. This is called HAPPINESS.

The Almighty Lord, the Great Compassion always guide us and provide for our needs. We have food and clothing every day. A human being is not capable of doing it. Only God can do it. A human cannot do it. They are not capable. A blade of grass needs time to grow, a plant needs time to grow. So, who is doing it? Not a human. If we lack a little oxygen, we will not be able to survive.

When we cultivate ourselves spiritually, we turn toward the pure energy of the whole universe, which is responsible for the births and rebirths of all creatures. Thanks to the pure energy, we are developing ourselves spiritually from heaviness to lightness. When we practice the Cyclical Breathing every day, we will be able to see the spiritual and invisible domain. This domain cannot be seen with profane eyes. However, we can see the infinitely small in this spiritual domain. It is pure, benevolent, beautiful, and never changes. This is called the Truth. If we do not practice, we will never arrive there, and we will never know.

So, why do you spend efforts to come here? We come here to practice. We come to listen to the words of truth that help us, to know our rights that we must use in order to advance further. We should not delude ourselves and slander ourselves. When we turn to the earthly world and abandon our soul, we are slandering ourselves. When we follow a story that we do not understand, we also defame ourselves. We are tormenting our heart and mind, and will be unable to develop ourselves. On the other hand, if we cultivate ourselves spiritually to develop our heart and mind, as well as our soul, we will be strong and healthy. When you practice correctly, it can be seen on your face. A person who practices the Vô-Vi method correctly, will have a fresh and happy face, and looks relaxed, because they are using the original energy of Heaven and Earth to support the development of their organism, and their brains are bright, because they can focus their energy.

When you practice the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat, your mind will brighten more and more each day, so you will return to your original position of lucidity from the distant past. At that time, you will feel very close to the Love of the Lord, and you will always fondly remember God and the Buddhas. The Energy of the Great Compassion does not abandon us. We are the ungrateful people who abandon the energy of the Great Compassion. We do not understand and we do not practice. We only use theory and talk foolishly, while our family is restless. When our heart and mind are restless, how can our family be at peace? Our heart and mind must be immersed in the original principle of Heaven and Earth, only then will we enjoy peace. When our heart and mind are calm, our brains will brighten. When our heart and mind are agitated, our brains will never illuminate.

Therefore, a Vô-Vi practitioner must arrive at his final goal, which is to achieve peace and happiness for both mind and body, to attain an enlightened mind and a wise heart. One only needs to practice. When one thoroughly understands the 6 vibratory words, one will understand everything. The whole universe is concentrated inside these 6 words, in the original principle of these 6 vibrations!

However, if we do not understand and do not practice, we will not awaken ourselves and will not receive the energy! Today, we have practiced, so we will awaken our consciousness. Everyone who comes here can feel the happiness and the lightness. We did not practice a lot yet, but we can still feel the transformations just after one or two hours.

We must clearly know our abilities. We are a capable entity of the universe. Why do we carry superstitions and blind beliefs in our mind, and extinguish the flame of lucidity inside our consciousness? We must be serene in order to rekindle the flame of our inner consciousness and evolve further. We should not procrastinate. The law of cause and effect governs the whole universe. The body must bear the consequences of the actions of the mind. Everyone must accept this rule to evolve further. With this Vô-Vi method, we will develop our consciousness further, and increase our patience and resignation. Our soul and consciousness will be able to elevate higher.

The Immortals and the Buddhas have succeeded thanks to their patience and resignation. What should we do now? We have a brain. The simplest thing is to practice patience and resignation. If we succeed, we will elevate ourselves and follow the steps of the Immortals and the Buddhas. We should not venerate the Immortals and the Buddhas and ask them to work for us. When you bow to Buddha and ask Him to eliminate your karma, this is foolishness, delusion, falsehood. We should not ask God to eliminate our karma, instead we should act responsibly and do at least a small part of God’s work.
