Lecture by Master Vĩ-Kiên at the Hai-Không Meditation Center on 25 September 1987

In the past year, you have spent efforts to learn about Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage from Our Goddess of Mercy. You learn to practice love and spiritual virtue, i.e., an infinite compassionate love. However, in order to practice compassionate love, one needs to undergo trials to determine if one’s intentions are sincere. We descend on earth and become infatuated by the worldly attractions. Today, we have the opportunity to re-learn the values of Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage which always exist in our true spiritual heart. So, do we truly accept to live with Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage?

What do “Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage” mean? They represent a path, a boat that needs to be steered properly to return to the shore of enlightenment. When we travel on the open sea, we must endure the wrath of the ocean waves. The more the waves batter us, the more clearly will we see our pure faith in “Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage”. This faith never fades, even though a profane heart may wrongly claim that they won’t persist, but in reality, they never fade.

After the conflicts, we would look back and see the faces of our brothers and sisters. We would understand that we were wrong, we were taking the wrong path, we were procrastinating, we were lazy, we were foolish, as we did not know how to utilize the existing abilities in our inner consciousness that Our Divine Mother has granted us, and that Our Divine Father has helped us. These virtues always reside in our spiritual consciousness, but instead, we spiral downward and cause rivalries and intransigence among each other, and discriminate each other.

One person may say: «I am educated, while the other is ignorant.” Another one may say “I am a better practitioner; the other is a mere beginner”. This behavior is extremely ignorant. Let me ask you: Among all the boats floating on the open sea, which boat has the proper spiritual level? They are all bobbing on the open sea, but the boat which is determined to brave all winds and storms will arrive at their destination.

Similarly, today, we utilize our spiritual heart and determination, and we also understand where the true heart resides. A layperson does not know about spiritual cultivation. They do not know what spiritual energy is, so they would say the spiritual heart resides in the physical heart. But we know where to focus our spiritual heart. It resides at the center top of the head. No knife can cut its energy, and nothing can deter our spiritual heart.

Therefore, our love among brothers and sisters must direct toward the World Above. This place is our true residence, this place is where we return to our origin. This place is an eternal place of lightness and purity in order for our soul to progress further. Therefore, today, we are undergoing the trials and tribulations. We are being tested in our spiritual faith and determination on this peaceful piece of land. This is where God has appeared to prove to us that we have an opportunity to cultivate ourselves spiritually here. Those who are determined to perfect themselves spiritually should continue their spiritual cultivation, regardless of the gossiping from outside. Our heart is elevated toward the World Above, and we are doing one task for all tasks.

We are perfecting ourselves spiritually in order to save the people after us. Brothers and sisters on this planet earth are innumerable, and do not comprise this small group only. These people are still suffering, they are still infatuated and lured by money, romances, unrighteous rivalries, and they have forgotten their existing abilities. Thus, they are mired in constant suffering, but who can save them?

To save them we need awakened people, those who are aware of their souls, those who know about spiritual perfection. People who have awakened their consciousness after periods of trials, who express the great vow and practice the path of compassionate love and spiritual virtue. Only those people will bring the weapon of compassionate love and spiritual virtue to help save humanity.

Thus, you have undergone the period of purification. But this will continue. You should remember that you must undergo purification, purification of your spiritual energy. The small boat is traveling on the open sea, and it will inevitably encounter storms, but the battering ocean waves will bring us closer to our courageous determination. Only then will we be able to learn about Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage. Where is the opportunity to learn? Here, we have the opportunity to learn Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage! We possess all these virtues inside ourselves, but if we are not aware, how can we see clearly our existing strength and power?

Even those who are not yet perfecting themselves spiritually know about the strength and power of Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage! However, they ignore it because they are busy with their greediness, passions, and infatuations. If they are aware, they would also hold to their compassion, wisdom, and courage in order to advance. The Goddess of Mercy as well as our Dear Divine Father also utilize compassion, wisdom, and courage to save humanity. They always spread compassionate love. With courage and determination, they are entering every house, every heart, they touch the heart of every practitioner in order to awaken their consciousness, in order for them to understand who they are and so that they may return to their true consciousness.

Therefore, our soul is most important. Our physical body creates dependencies, but it represents the Divine Law. Even if we err a little bit, we can fall ill. When we eat carelessly, we can become ill. When we talk carelessly, we can become ill. Therefore, we clearly see that we are creating many opportunities for us to progress, and we are also culpable of creating many opportunities for us to regress.

When we understand this equilibrium, we will truly engage ourselves to save humanity, and we will practice in order to spread a good influence upon humanity. But if we do not undergo the periods of trials and tribulations, we won’t understand clearly the value of the law of equilibrium.

Where does the value of the law of equilibrium reside?  It resides in both the pure and impure, and when we learn about both the pure and impure energies, we will certainly attain balance in the future. When we understand thoroughly both the pure and impure energies, and we can handle both the pure and impure, what will happen? We will be able to completely harmonize with the pure energy of God, and we will assume responsibilities and spread an infinite love.

We cannot refuse the compassionate love in our heart. We even love a blade of glass, a grain of sand. We love all! We must open our love to make it larger and larger each day. We must undergo karmic retributions, and only after attaining balance will we truly appreciate the value of compassionate love.

Since last year, you have heard my lectures exhorting you to practice compassionate love and forgiveness. However, when you start practicing compassion, you must undergo trials and tribulations. Only after overcoming the tribulations, you will firmly hold to compassion. You will firmly hold to this weapon to advance. What will humanity obtain once they are able to practice compassion?

They will obtain a compassionate love that brings joy and happiness, as practiced and blessed by the higher spheres. Thus, a Vô Vi practitioner does not believe in superstitions. If one does not spend efforts to cultivate oneself spiritually and only asks for salvation from the World Above, it will never happen.

God and the Buddhas have given us a perfect miracle, i.e., a physical body with all four limbs, but we only have reckless thoughts! We abuse what God has granted us, we utilize the intelligence He gave us to cause rivalries, killings, to defraud others. What do you think?

Now we repent our mistakes and understand. We have wasted the powers that God has granted us. We have abused them, and today, we are awakened and we return to our true consciousness in order to advance and influence others. Many of our friends, many of our brothers and sisters are still entangled in this state of extreme infatuation.

They wrongly believe that they are educated, and with their diplomas, they can possess all and control others, but eventually, they are only oppressing themselves. They can trick others without their knowledge; they can defraud others with impunity. But people know all. There is nothing that can be hidden. As you have seen in old theatrical plays, even secrets from the King and his concubines would be known, nothing can be hidden!

Thus, as Vô Vi practitioners, we should release our karma of heart, we should open our consciousness, and publicly strive to elevate our hearts. We must admit without rebuke: “I am a sinner. I am a sinner soul on earth. I must strive to perfect myself spiritually, to harmonize myself with the pure energy, to harmonize with the original energy of the whole universe, in order to recognize my Divine Father and Mother. What do they want from me? They gave birth to me but they don’t want me to become a thief! They gave birth to me, but they don’t want me to be a criminal! No!”

Therefore, our Divine Father and Mother keep grieving continually, as they follow us closely without abandoning us. They always follow us; they always give us spiritual guidance. They give us the opportunity to live in this or that circumstance, in order for us to realize that circumstances are our teacher and benefactor. Circumstances help us return to serenity in order to advance spiritually. Thanks to the circumstances, we were able to turn to spirituality. Thanks to the circumstances, we were able to awaken our soul. All the karmic retributions are circumstances to help guide us spiritually. Thus, we come to this earth in order to participate in the school of life, and we must be tested after learning.

Therefore, you have learned during the whole past year, but you have all failed the tests! With your unending small talks, you have all failed! But today, you have the opportunity to be reborn. You have wasted a whole year. But you will no longer be ignorant this year! This year, you have the opportunity to be saved from drowning, you no longer drift aimlessly! 

We will continue to steer this small boat to return to the shore enlightenment. We will always maintain our equilibrium, our compassionate love and spiritual virtue. We will hold to the weapon of compassionate love and spiritual virtue, which is always present in our hearts. We will utilize this sword to cut all our bad habits and bad characters.

We must do whatever we say! Exactly! The works of God and the Buddhas seem impossible, but they are doable. Many people have said that our reunion today is not possible, it will certainly fail. They are certain, that no one will come to the center Hai-Khong. But today, numerous people have come here. Why? This is the work of God. This is the destiny of God. God has planned it, not the common people.

We cannot use the argumentation of lay people, and even the arguments of our Vo-Vi friends. Their consciousness is still dark, they are still ignorant and they do not know the purpose of the Divine attestation. How does God want to help humanity? Why did God want to use this piece of land? In order to give spiritual guidance to everyone, so that all may progress spiritually. In order to guide all people spiritually so that they may release their karma, so that they may elevate their thoughts and return to eternal youthfulness and beauty, and never be destroyed.

We should repent our ignorance immediately! We should vow to help others in order to redeem our sins. Otherwise, we will descend to hell! This is a serious warning today, so that everyone awakens their consciousness. They should no longer hold to their infatuations and intransigence. They will only cause their own darkness, and their narrow mind will become even narrower!

We will only reject ourselves. We will only discriminate ourselves! We refuse the opportunity to enjoy the spiritual blessings. We refuse the opportunity to work for God. Our spiritual consciousness is very precious. It cannot be exchanged with gold or silver. Our consciousness is eternal. You should keep elevating your consciousness toward the World Above, you should keep working for God, for the common good, for all people.

To cultivate your virtue of sacrifice means to practice true compassion. The more you engage yourselves, the more you will feel an infinite compassion. The more you dedicate yourselves, the more you see people’s sufferings.

Why so? Because of their infatuations, they are holding to money and wealth. Because of their infatuations, they are holding to something that cannot be taken. It is such a pity! But they keep complaining about body aches because of their money worries. With their intransigence, rivalries, and ignorance, they are abandoning their souls and they only disdain themselves.

What should we think? What should we do when seeing that our brothers and sisters are lost in their foolishness? We must perfect ourselves spiritually even more in order to attain a greater serenity and influence others. We must demonstrate to everyone that each of us is capable. They can also make spiritual progress. They may be zillions of times more intelligent than us! Why don’t they act accordingly?

Thus, we must sacrifice a little bit in order to help them and help us as well. When our brothers and sisters succeed, we also succeed. When humanity succeeds, all living creatures will be able to enjoy the pure energy of compassion and harmony. We will all elevate our thoughts toward the World Above, we will truly appreciate the work of God, we will truly comprehend how Our Divine Father has embraced us in our inner consciousness, how He loves everyone and abandons no one.

We clearly see that we have a compassionate Mother. We have a Father in Heaven and a Mother on Earth! Our compassionate Mother is the planet Earth. Without Earth, how can we survive? Without a physical body, how can we survive? Our Mother is our body! How can we detach ourselves from Her? How can we dare to forget Her? But we abandon Her and ignore Her. We only follow our bad habits and bad characters. Instead of turning toward the compassionate heart of a mother, we turn toward evil karma. How can we make progress? If we turn toward intransigence and rivalries, how can we progress spiritually?

Even if we practice till our hair turns silver and our eyesight dims, we will never become enlightened! Because our heart is evil! Our heart does not turn toward the higher sphere! Our mouth expresses the vow to return to the spiritual origin, but our heart is still cruel! We should not act this way. It’s a pity for the soul which has marched halfway and has to sink forever.

Thus, I remind all of you one last time. You will endure many more tribulations to test if your consciousness is willing to return to the Immortals and the Buddhas. If you are not willing to return to the Immortals and the Buddhas, you will only eradicate yourselves! This is certain.

I have already traveled for many decades. I have been arrogant and showed all kinds of haughtiness. Nowadays, I have to descend from my pedestal. I must research; I must practice patience and resignation. I have to travel many places and be extremely humble. 

I consider my Vo-Vi friends like my God. I treat you like my father and mother. I must serve you from the bottom of my heart. I must love you infinitely, and clearly show you the way to advance on the path of openness and spiritual glory, without the fear to be oppressed by anyone.

From now on, you should accept all karmic retributions in order to advance. You should keep practicing compassionate love and spiritual virtue to cultivate yourselves and influence all others. This task is essential. As an example, I have sacrificed myself to go from one place to another, and even at the middle of the night, I have to supplicate you. During many nights, I have to cry all night long during my lectures.

Why do I behave this way? What benefits do I get? However, today, I have attained some pure energy. Through my pure energy, I was able to touch your consciousness during the night, so that you may resuscitate from your infatuations, so that you may awaken your consciousness and turn toward the path of spiritual perfection.

I pray that you will turn to spiritual perfection, so that this planet earth may achieve peace. When you meditate, you are providing pure energy to all 3 spheres. You are not doing a small task. This is a great task!

You neither campaign nor advertise in public, but you have done a big task. You direct your pure energy toward the World Above in order to dissolve all impurities of this planet earth due to senseless rivalries and intransigence. People take advantage of the power of God. They take advantage of the original energy of God in order to kill each other and build deadly weapons. 

On the other hand, they have a readily and beautiful weapon within, i.e., the sword of compassionate love and spiritual virtue. But they do not use it, they do not take it to chop all their bad habits and bad characters. Instead, they are hiding this sword of wisdom! They are using the impure sword made of materialism to kill each other, but in fact, they can never kill anyone. The souls keep cycling through reincarnations, they keep evolving, and those who plan for killings will remain under duress.

Today, the whole world has to learn only about patience and resignation. Therefore, today, we have to practice extreme patience and resignation. We should all elevate our minds toward the World Above in order to guide and save all living creatures on earth. Then, this planet earth will undergo transformations, and the celestial destiny will change.

Thus, what you are doing is not a small task. Our Divine Father has sent numerous messengers through beings able to receive His pure energy. Our Goddess of Mercy has also cried her heart out. The spiritual leaders have also begged the Immortals innumerable times to pardon humans so that they may have the opportunity for spiritual perfection.

So, you are receiving the greatest blessings, as you have all the means necessary for spiritual perfection. If you don’t perfect yourselves spiritually, it would be a great waste. Thus, today, I return to Hai-Khong to remind you once more. With our affection toward each other, I will never abandon you, and even if I depart from here, my soul always remains here.

Thus, you may come here regularly to perfect yourselves spiritually. Slowly, through your determination, you will guide a certain number of people to practice and progress together.  We will build a node of super-civilization in accordance with the original will of God. We will show to science that this mystical Vo-Vi science in our inner consciousness can develop toward infinity, and how it can contribute to humanity.

People see that you are sitting in silence, but in fact, you are doing a lot of work. In the future, you will work for the super-civilization. There are many areas that need your pure energy, such as influencing the weather pattern and so on. These are essential tasks, but you cannot see this magical mechanism.

You only hear about the celestial mechanism, but you are not aware of the magical mechanism! The magical mechanism resides in the inner consciousness of each individual, of each soul on earth who are contributing to the whole Universe.

Thus, you must make extra efforts. We are currently steering our boat through a series of karmic retributions. Now we have awakened our soul and we clearly see the new sunrise. We must govern ourselves; we must restore our discipline to advance further. We must accept the karmic retributions. We must accept the storms and upheavals. We are accustomed to it. We no longer fear it. We will keep marching and we will arrive to our destination with a clear spirit of Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage.
