Where Does The Soul Go After Death?

Question: If a Vô-Vi practitioner has not yet achieved any results, but unfortunately, they would die halfway on their spiritual journey, what will happen to their soul? Please explain more clearly to us where the soul will go after death?

Answer by Master Vi-Kien:

You want to know where the soul goes after death, but currently, you don’t even know how the soul is governing this body. Now, you want to know what happens to the soul after death.

Therefore, when we accept to cultivate ourselves spiritually, we realize that it is our responsibility and mission to serve this physical body. Your spiritual consciousness is currently serving this body. It is currently releasing the worries and errors that you have accumulated, which cause the Master-Soul to become restless. The culprit is your astral body. Do you see it? Your astral body is attracted by the external world, it accumulates all kinds of things, but the soul must bear the karmas as a consequence.

Therefore, when we cultivate ourselves spiritually, we will gradually discover that all the garbage and perturbations do not come from us, they are caused by our subordinates. We did not restrain them, we let them roam freely, we did not control them, therefore, they made mistakes, and today, we have to bear all the consequences from the agitations of the external world.

Now, how should we resolve this situation? We must use our compassionate heart to guide and enlighten our astral body. It must clearly see that it can still ascend higher, and not be limited. So, it does not need to turn to the external world and hold to intransigence and rivalries! When our astral body agrees to listen to the Master-Soul, it will turn within and direct itself toward the World Above. It will accompany the Master-Soul in the search for the spiritual path, and it will awaken itself through the words of truth.

So, you ask, what will happen to your soul, in case that you die halfway on the path of spiritual perfection? Today, your soul resides in this body, so if tomorrow, you throw yourselves into an abyss, you will remain in the abyss. In contrast, if you rectify yourselves to become pure and light, you will go to a high place.

Therefore, we cultivate ourselves spiritually, i.e., we abandon the agitations to return to serenity. There is no more questioning, no more wondering what will happen to my soul if I die halfway during my spiritual journey. You will go in accordance with your spiritual level.

If you have done many charitable deeds, you will be reborn into a good family with many blessings, and there will be family members with a higher spiritual level, who will guide you to ascend higher spiritually. Do you see it?

If your resolve is unbreakable, if you are determined to liberate your soul, if you nurture the will to advance infinitely, even if an atomic bomb drops down, you will still arrive at a serene place, since your will and courage are everlasting. You clearly see that your soul is eternal, so why do you still worry about the future, where your soul will go after death?

Good seeds will bring a good harvest, bad seeds will bring a bad harvest. Right now, I need to plant good seeds, so that I will land at a good place in the future.

Right now, if you bad-mouth people daily, you will be fearful whenever you meet them. Do you see it? Bad seeds will bring a bad harvest, since your defamations will make you agitated. In contrast, we only talk about the goodness in everyone and work positively with everyone, and we know that we have a technique to help everyone illuminate their own inner light to progress further. So our compassionate heart will never cause agitation to us, since we do not criticize anyone.

We are full of compassionate love. We see that we are only ONE family, not two. There are billions of people on earth, but we all come from the same mold created by the Lord, we all have the same sense organs (eyes, nose, ears, mouth) and the same five internal organs, even for an animal.  

Therefore, our abundant compassion embraces the whole universe. So, where will you reside in the future? You know already. I will be selfless, I will reside in a position of love, compassion, and constructiveness. At that time, you are no longer affected by births, deaths, and rebirths.

Within birth, there is death, within death, there is rebirth, you have seen it clearly: The irrefutable law of birth, maturity, decay, destruction, and rebirth. Trees grow, then become old; they decay and are reborn in young plants. The cycle of transformation and evolution continues incessantly, until our soul attains complete serenity, complete purity. At that time, it will blend with the Great Soul and participate tirelessly in the great work of the Lord, which is to save and guide all living beings spiritually.  

Therefore, our evolution depends on the level of each individual. If we know how to cultivate our will for progression, we will attain good results in our spiritual evolution in the future. The greater our virtue of sacrifice is, the greater our lucidity will be.

What do we sacrifice? Sacrificing our existing bad character and bad habits is enough to achieve enlightenment.

If you hold onto your bad character and bad habits, you can spend a million of lifetimes of spiritual cultivation and go nowhere. We sacrifice our bad character and bad habits, our infatuation and intransigence, our fears and doubts, our refusal to awaken ourselves and march on our own. All this will only cause agitation in our inner consciousness.
