“HOW TO CONQUER THE DEMON OF LAZINESS”

EXTRACT #1

I worry most about how to chase the demon of laziness inside yourselves. Once we eradicate this demon, then we will be able to resolve anything. If the demon of laziness persists, it will generate rivalries and intransigence, and it will produce poison in our minds. This evil is hidden and caused by the demon of laziness. It creates all kinds of pretexts and argumentations for its behavior.  It will cause the Master-Soul to sink into depravity permanently.

Therefore, one must meditate at the exact time. One must go to bed at the exact time. One must eat at the exact time. One must work at the exact time. One must always be punctual. Then one will have peace. If one is uncontrolled, one will not have peace.

Order is important. When one picks an object, one must return it to the exact same location. One should not drop it randomly. Only then will the next person be able to find it.

I practice and turn within to examine myself only. If I can improve myself, I will benefit. Otherwise, I have to accept the consequences. I do not tell other people to do it in my place. I must do it. I must rectify myself. Whatever I like to do, I have to learn to do it. If I encounter adversities, I must bear the burden, but I keep practicing the Vô-Vi method. Only then will I be able to overcome the difficulties.

EXTRACT #2

Question: How to free ourselves of laziness?

Answer: The demon of laziness is always hidden in each person. But it can present all kinds of pretexts. But if we are determined to practice the Vô-Vi method punctually, the demon of laziness must leave us and cannot remain in our domain of serenity.

In contrast, if we nurture this demon, such as claiming to have pain here and there, or claiming to be busy, this is a way of the demon of laziness to reappear, which comes from our earthly habits.  We must eradicate this demon and face it directly. We should never pardon this demon in order to advance higher. We must work positively to advance higher.

EXTRACT #3

Question: Dear Master, how can we nurture our mind and consciousness to conquer the demon of laziness?

Answer: When we want to conquer the demon of laziness, we must see the demon of laziness before being victorious. Have you seen the demon of laziness?

Vô-Vi practitioner: Yes, I have seen it!

If you have seen it, do you accept to play with this demon? No? You don’t want to do it? Playing with this demon means to obey all what it tells you. When it entices you to drink alcohol, you will go and drink alcohol, when it tells you to go to sleep, you go to sleep. Then you play with it. In contrast, if you say that you no longer want to play with the demon of laziness, then you must act in an opposite way. Do you understand? At the beginning, opposing this demon will cause you difficulties. But with time, you will acquire a good habit and it has to follow you instead of you obeying it. 

If we follow this demon while we cannot even see our true self, then we will obscure our mind more and more each day. We will not see ourselves anymore.  Do you see it? Now, if you act in the opposite way, it must surrender. You are a prince. You are a king in a country. You are the royal heir in this microcosm. But if you do not know how to govern your people, they will become lazy. If you let them loose and do not discipline them, they will become lazy.

On the other hand, if you assign tasks to them, for example, order them to mentally invoke Nam-Mo-A-D-Da-Phat. Test if they can do the mental invocation. If they are unable to mentally invoke Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat, you will refuse to play with them. You set up rules. They have to practice steadily. Once they are capable of mentally invoking Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat, they will work more diligently. They no longer accept to be lazy. Whichever task they do, they will develop their mind. Whatever they do, it will help to develop their mind. The more they work, the more they develop their mind. When they work more, they do not become more ignorant. The more they work, the more intelligent they become.

So, they have satisfaction. At that time, you will truly make progress. At that time, you will work more diligently than in the past. You will destroy the demon of laziness completely. Do you see it? The same applies to spiritual perfection.

EXTRACT #4

Educating our six sensations and our six sensorial roots

We need to teach them the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat.

This is our responsibility. We turn within but we must control them. Without control, they will become unruly. We must control them and order them to practice the mental invocation. When they mentally invoke Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat, and do it in an orderly manner, after we travel by soul, when we return to our body, we will see that they will kneel down on both sides to greet our return.

At midnight, they will wake up. They will set up an orderly altar with lights and candles, then we will get up to meditate.

We must order them to practice the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat. Eventually, they will become illuminated. They will be disciplined and orderly. They will call us at the right time. To test, just say that you will leave at 5AM, then they will wake you up around 4 something. We only need to say once. Tomorrow, I will leave at 5 AM, then around 4 something, they will wake us up. We only need to give the order once.

Therefore, we must practice. There are 2 spheres. Not only one. One sphere is the Master-Soul. The other sphere is made of the thousands of sentient beings. We must educate them.

Therefore, I advise everyone to practice the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat after work. To teach the six sensorial roots and the six sensations. After a while, we will see their forms clearly. We are not alone. But all decisions must be made by the Master-Soul. Therefore, the soul always bears the responsibilities. When the six sensorial roots and six sensations talk carelessly and become angry, this is their behavior. This is not the behavior of the Master-Soul. The Master-Soul has the responsibility to educate them. You should listen to the audio tapes A DI DA carefully in order to educate them. We must practice the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat diligently in order to transform our consciousness and awake them. We must order the beings in our lower sphere to work diligently. One cannot say that one perfects oneself spiritually, so one does not need to do any work. We must order them to work.

If you do not work, these beings will not make progress. You have to order them to work a lot. Even if they have to suffer, even if they are humiliated, they must work. Order them to work. If they can work and endure a lot of sufferings, they will progress very rapidly. 

Extract#5

You say that you are still lazy, so you do not know when you will be able to guide others spiritually.

About laziness, I also could fill many baskets of laziness myself. But now, I have emptied them, so I am no longer lazy. Thanks to spiritual perfection. Do you understand? In this earthly world, everyone is lazy. You are not alone. The demon of laziness resides in our consciousness. “One inch of Buddha, one foot of demon.” When speaking about Buddha, one only talks a little bit. But when arguing and talking about trivial things, one can talk the whole day without being tired. 

Do you see it? This is “one foot of demon”, this is the demon of laziness. When we talk less, we will rediscover our Buddha-character and bring it back to serenity. Do you understand? Then, we will be able to save ordinary people. Do you understand? You have a good heart, which is very valuable for your family. Strive to practice more the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat.

To restore order. When you practice the mental invocation of Nam-Mo-A-Di-Da-Phat, you will see the development of your consciousness of harmony. Now, you are young, but you are already acquainted with tens of people, so you already feel happy. If later on, you will be acquainted with millions of people, you will be much happier. Do you see it? When your consciousness of harmony develops, you will know people coming from all 3 spheres, so it will be at least a few millions. Do you see it? It will include all souls, dead and alive people. They are all our friends. There will be no discrimination and no difference. When we develop our consciousness of harmony, we will feel the existence of the virtue of compassion.

If we want to acquire the virtue of compassion, we must be diligent, we cannot be lazy. Therefore, this Vô Vi method forbids laziness. Nothing else is really prohibited. Those who practice this method are not allowed to be lazy. If one practices regularly each night, one will certainly become diligent.
