Question: Why does the Vô Vi practitioner have to join his palms during the mental invocation?

Answer: Because we have Yin and Yang energies. Our body is made of Yin and Yang, it is made of energy. The 2 fluxes of energy have to become one in order to transcend and project out. Only then will we achieve our goal in our spiritual commitment.

Question: Why do we have to mentally invoke " Nam Mô A Di Đà Phật" 3 times?

Answer: To mentally invoke " Nam Mô A Di Đà Phật" will release all the impurities in our inner consciousness, so that we can direct our heart toward the World Above.

Question: Please explain why we need to mentally invoke " Nam Mô Tây Phương Cực Lạc Thế Giới Quán Thế Âm Bồ Tát"?

Answer: Because " Nam Mô Tây Phương Cực Lạc Thế Giới" is the final realm of serenity that our soul needs to attain in its spiritual development. We must turn our heart towards this place, so that our path is truly pure and light.

Question: Why do we need to mentally invoke "Long Hoa Giáo Chủ Di Lạc"?

Answer:  When we think about the Boddhisattva Kwan Yin (Goddess of Mercy), our inner consciousness will become illuminated, and the flower of compassion will bloom within us. 
Invoking "Long Hoa Giáo Chủ" means to concentrate that pure energy which will shine down upon us and attest to our sincerity during our meditation session.
