Lecture by Master Vi-Kien - Opening of the 15th Vô-Vi Convention (1996)
Today is the first day of the 15th Vô-Vi Convention (1996).
Undeterred by difficulties, we sincerely turn to the Word Above with the desire to elevate our souls. Thanks to our determination, we are able to gather in a beautiful reunion today. With our consciousness turned to the World Above, we are able to celebrate a special Vô-Vi Festival (Tết) on earth. On earth, people determine which days to celebrate, but they are unaware of their souls. In contrast, we develop our souls for the future, and together, we form a beautiful spiritual Convention, which is invaluable and priceless on earth.
O Vô-Vi friends, undeterred by the efforts and difficulties, you have come here, motivated by your sincere hearts. We are reunited to pray for peace everywhere, so that the world may escape the dangerous calamities due to the current transformations of the celestial mechanism. We are sincere and devoted to the spiritual world. We turn toward serenity to practice and progress, to release the numerous karmas accumulated since many lifetimes. We practice to awaken our consciousness. We are fearless in spite of the difficulties. Money and wealth on earth are temporary. We clearly know that they are temporary, only a sincere heart is most important!
Today, we have the opportunity to be reunited within sincerity. We treat each other within sincerity. We hope that one day, humans will awaken themselves, so that we could build the foundation of peace for the whole world. We would bring peace to the whole world within sincerity, love, and constructiveness.
We should not cause rivalries and intransigence because of money, and end up in a narrow pathway. A spiritual adept aims to develop his serenity. Thus, he walks on a wide path, extremely bright. We do not enter into a place of narrow-mindedness, the narrow path of rivalries and intransigence. We already possess a large amount of ignorance. Now, we should release our ignorance to advance toward equality, compassionate love and true constructiveness. Let’s keep a sincere heart. We realize that this world is fleeting and delusory. Only the soul is real! This is our ultimate capital. If we practice with diligence, we will be able to return to our true soul. Today, we have seen positive developments. Vô-Vi practitioners have developed positively thanks to their sincere meditation practice. Therefore, from all corners of the world, we are still able to be reunited. This is an important point in order to bring positiveness to humanity in the future. Let’s strive to cultivate ourselves spiritually with diligence, we will obtain good results. Slowly, you will see that your abilities are invaluable and cannot be found by ordinary people.
Ordinary people are submerged and pulled into agitation, money, wealth, fame. They only cause suffering to their true consciousness, and they are unable to awaken themselves. Today, we sacrifice everything in order to cultivate our true consciousness and achieve awakening. We will build our energy to return to the Heavenly Land, a place of peace and serenity, where there are neither criticisms nor gossips, only positivity.
As people on earth, we practice this Vô-Vi method to release all criticisms and gossips to advance toward goodness, positivity, a sound mind and body, and harmony among our organs (heart, liver, kidneys). Even the singers also participate in this endeavor to sing the sincere words that a human can achieve, and that we are currently practicing. As brothers and sisters, we are unanimous and determined to remain steadfast and persevere on the Vô-Vi path. We turn toward serenity to resolve all karmas accumulated since many lifetimes and not in this lifetime only. Eventually, through our work, the results will be grandiose, beautiful and glorious, thanks to our assiduous practice, our dedication to develop our own spiritual consciousness.
Whether young or old, we all have the right to participate in order to learn and awaken ourselves, to see our true value and the importance of our presence on earth, as well as being aware of our own responsibilities. What are our responsibilities? Heaven, Earth, Man. As humans, we are related to Heaven and Earth, as our body is formed from the four elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth. We do not lack anything, but if we do not know how to develop ourselves, how can we be prosperous? What is the prosperity of a spiritual adept? Spiritual energy!
Thus, you are not wealthy, you lack money, and there are even many people who had to borrow money to attend the Vô-Vi Convention. But your faces are happy and bright because you know how to develop yourselves positively and you accept to return to your original nature. Only when we return to our pure original nature, will we be able to unify with the pure energy bloc in the World Above. Our souls are eternal and birthless! Once you understand this point, you will no longer be suffering! I can guarantee that you will no longer suffer!
As humans, we have sufficient means. Heaven and Earth provide us with abundant energy, sufficient food, we do not lack anything, but our greediness causes scarcity. If we are not greedy, we will always have plenty, and not lack anything. Therefore, Vô-Vi practitioners do not need plenty of money, but they are able to save themselves and be a good influence on others. We practice, we receive the pure energy of Heaven and Earth, we live with a strong faith, we cultivate our inner serenity, so that it grows bigger each day. Our compassionate heart will become brighter each day. These are our important tasks, and not the task of amassing a fortune, billions that you can neither bring with you nor enjoy after death. You will not be able to bring a single penny outside of this planet earth. You will only be able to bring your spiritual energy, while it is certain that you will never be able to bring your money. However, people keep rushing after monetary gains, they harm themselves, they cause rivalries and intransigence and bring agitation to their inner nervous system. They mistreat each other, they are suspicious of each other, they do not know the Divine Love that God is bestowing upon them and guiding them to advance spiritually at each minute and second. To completely forget one’s serenity means to harm oneself only.
Today, we have a fortunate opportunity. Whether from afar or nearby, we all come here to form a beautiful and serene Vô-Vi Festival (Tết Vô Vi). In Vô-Vi, we transform big issues into small ones, small issues become no issues, in order to return to our place of birthlessness and eternity.
When I left Viet Nam, I told the Vô-Vi practitioners who have known me for several years: “If you do not dedicate yourselves to spiritual perfection, you will be sorry for your waste of time. It will be very difficult to see me again.”
Today, we have a proof of what I said before my departure. At that time, I also installed a Vô-Vi mirror for each family. Before I left, I also visited each family, so that they could see that each person has a pure consciousness. One needs to abandon earthly matters to return to purity and lightness, in order to harmonize with the pure and light energy granted by God. We should live with the faith in the true nature of our soul, which will advance toward the unification with the Great Enlightenment of God. Only then will we have the opportunity to live forever and be void of agitation. What can prove this? Our brains, from our hands and feet to our brains, all form a complex nervous system. As this system enlarges, the impure energy will cause it to become heavy and impure. In fact, its original state is infinite lightness and purity, an infinite light. Thanks to the spiritual cultivation, your mind will open up. You do not need to have a doctorate degree or be a professional. But if you spend great efforts to cultivate yourselves spiritually, your whole mind and body will transform completely. Your mind will be bright and your heart wise. You will have a clear judgement, and develop your own direct knowledge, you will no longer be superstitious. To develop our direct knowledge means to return to our true nature. Everywhere, all spirits, the Immortals and the Buddhas, the whole universe, listen to the Great Buddha and respect His teachings. There is no argumentation, because we progress from the impure to the pure state. To return to our true original nature of lightness and purity, our eternal nature, is the path that we are all taking, as brothers and sisters. We are a small group, but if we practice with diligence, we will be able to provide spiritual guidance in many places. Then, these people will also develop a benevolent heart. And we will achieve a peaceful land on earth which will last thousand years. We will be infinitely happy, and people will no longer be suspicious and envious of each other. If humans use compassionate love in order to evolve, the divine blessings will never end. You have sufficient means, from food to clothing, nothing is lacking. Something may be very expensive, but God still grants it to us. To save a human life is very expensive. For example, a doctor gives an injection to a patient to cure his illness, and asks for a high price. But God gives us much more. God gives us much more, but humans are unaware. They do not know that God cares for us and helps us to develop positively. God is providing humans a pure and light life, a wise heart, and an enlightened mind. Everyone has an opportunity to practice to advance toward serenity with their own efforts. Today is a joyful day for us, brothers and sisters. Herewith, I declare the opening of the Vô-Vi Convention. Everyone will rejoice within serenity and we will all enjoy the pure energy of God.
