What causes man’s illnesses? Man becomes ill, because his consciousness and knowledge are too shallow. He cultivates his short-lived temperament of Greed, Anger, Infatuation, but these behaviors cause him to become ill.

==============================

What does our character contain?

Greed, anger, infatuation, joy, wrath, love, hatred, desires.

When one is unaware of one’s greed, anger, infatuation, joy, wrath, love, hatred, and desires, what will happen? One will incur illnesses. There is no moderation.

One is greedy and refuses to elevate oneself.

If one’s greed is turned to noble goals, one will be pure and light. One wants to progress toward the infinite enlightenment from the World Above. One will no longer be greedy about trivial things on earth.

The same happens to anger. One must understand that this angry nature is necessary as a launching pad for us to elevate our souls.

Infatuation: We are infatuated with our thoughts about the inherent evolution in our inner consciousness. When we elevate our thoughts, we will keep searching for this evolution within ourselves. We certainly possess this enlightenment within ourselves.

Joy means to happily accept any situation that may arise. One should always keep a happy attitude instead of being critical towards others. This means a sublimated state of joy.

What does wrath mean? Wrath means being hot tempered and angry. But if one elevates one’s thoughts, this force will propel us upward and allow us to send and receive spiritual energy anywhere.

Love means that we must be able to propel ourselves upward and achieve awakening. After that spiritual awakening, we will compassionately love everything.

If we do not have life around us, how can we live? If we do not have the Love of God, we will not be able to live.  Without the purity and lightness of the whole universe, we will not be alive. Do you see it?

Hatred is darkness, and it resides in everybody. But this darkness also has its useful side. The nature of “greed, anger, infatuation, joy, wrath, love, hatred, desires” is the nature of God. But when we elevate ourselves, these traits will become pure and sublimate themselves toward infinity. The hatred, the impurities, the darkness cause us to regress, but when we turn toward infinity, we realize that it also contains this nature. When we face this infinite darkness, this infinite impurity, and use our determination to resolve it, it will dissipate.

This darkness will disappear and transform itself into enlightenment. It is the same with our human desires. These desires do not simply mean sexual desires. When we want all kinds of things, this also means “Desires”. But if we elevate our thoughts, we will sublimate our desires, we will progress and advance toward infinity. At that time, these desires will bring us purity and lightness. Do you see it?

Therefore, what causes man’s illnesses? Man becomes ill, because his consciousness and knowledge are too shallow. He cultivates his short-lived temperament of Greed, Anger, Infatuation, but these behaviors cause him to become ill.

If he knows how to utilize Greed, Anger, Infatuation, Joy, Wrath, Love, and Desires and sublimate them toward infinity, he will no longer be confined by the temperament of greed, anger, infatuation of earthly people. Then, his heart is full of generosity. He will truly love compassionately, and he will work positively for his own good. He will then have a good influence on others. Why do the awakened meditation practitioners become more and more intelligent and easygoing each day?

Why? Because they understand themselves and strive to cultivate their true nature in order to advance toward infinity. Therefore, they become more and more enlightened each day.
